‘‘A good riad in Meknes’’

This lovely Riad is well located just inside the Medina, easy to find and right in the centre of the town. Clean, comfortable and well decorated rooms in this simple but well kept riad make this a great place to stay while in Meknes (watch your head through some of the low doorways though!). The staff are friendly, helpful and unobtrusive, and there was good communication from the owner Lionel when we were booking. The best breakfast we had in all of Morrocco. The home-made Malawi breads and freshly squeezed orange juice were amazing. Also tea on the terrace in the two rocking chairs overlooking place Hedim is not be missed. Look out for the resident tortoise in the courtyard. We stayed in several Riads whilst in Morrocco and this one was our favourite!

‘‘Friendly and wonderful’’

Great riad just a few steps away from the main square.

Only stayed here one night on our journey, but we remember this riad fondly - the rooms were nicely decorated, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

In addition to cooking meals to our preferences, they helped us organize cars to/from the train station and to/from Volubilis and Moulay Idriss. Without this help, it would have been much more difficult to enjoy Meknes.

Would definitely stay here again if visiting Meknes.

‘‘Fabulous stay’’

We stayed for three days in this fabulous place. The place has been carefully restored. The rooms are great. The house is Escherian with it stairs and corridors, sudden views. We found the service great. Value for money.

‘‘Absolutely amazing’’

Riad Felloussia is the most amazing place where I have ever stayed at. The location is perfect for Meknes, right next to Place El Hedim and Bab Mansour. We called the riad when we reached Bab Mansour (the big gate) and they came to show us the way to the riad. After you know the way, it is really easy to find, but the first time it was nice to have someone show you the way. When we reached the courtyard of the hotel, it was just breathtaking, a little oasis in hiding in the medina!

We stayed at the suite Toubkal. The room was perfect, the ambiance is just magnificent. Everything was clean and beautiful. It was the best room I have ever stayed at, I felt like royalty. One thing about the room: the stairs are really steep, so if you have trouble with stairs, choose another room.

The food was the best Moroccan food which we tasted during our trip to Morocco, I really recommend that you eat dinner at the Riad. We ate there every night during our stay, because the food was that good! We are vegetarians, so cannot comment on any other than veggie-foods.

The staffs were really friendly and kind, cannot ask for better. I would definitely recommend this Riad to anyone, it is perfect!
